Any duck people able to ID this Duckling for me?

I posted this in the wrong place the first time, over in breeds, and I never even noticed the duck forum! So I thought I would repost here and see if I have better luck here. I got a duckling, and the feed store could not tell me breed. I looked around online and I think the magpie and the Ancona are the closest matches, but I am not for sure. Hoping you experts can help!! I know it's impossible to tell in the pics, but it looks like he will have white wings too and his legs are mostly back with some orange stripes on the webbing between his toes.

That was my vote at first, until I saw that he seemed a lot smaller than the Pekin, he has a longer neck but is most definitely small, and I guess I thought Anconas were supposed to be pretty decent sized ducks. So then I started thinking Magpie, and of course now I am just confused! lol

Sounds like Ancona has the vote here in this thread! Another person in the Breed forum told me to rule out Ancona, funny. Ancona makes more sense because the Hatchery I think they they came from lists Ancona's as one of their rare breeds. but does not list Magpie.

How big should he be compared to his Pekin buddy if he/she is an Ancona?

Think Again! I have seen a many of black swedish to look just like that. I have anconas too. I have not had a one to have a solid black back like that.

my black swedish babies looked exactly like that. they were mixed with my fawn/white runner and didnt get the solid black on their heads.

well...will post pic of ducklings I got from Ideal on Thursday last week...supposed to be Magpies, Black Runners, FW Runners, Blue Swedish, and then there are the crested Rouens and the goslings...five white Chinas and two Pomeranians...

Looks like an Ancona to me! We have one that looks similar but it's a chocolate )
