With ee hens you are one step closer than me! I’ll have to consider what to cross the f1 ee hens to when they are grown next season, I guess if I put dad over them I’ll get a few lavs but they’ll be closer to Araucana type, was hoping to get the other breed types with coloured eggs ... not sure if that’s possible, especially with the single comb varieties?Definitely a nice mix!
My mixture is a bit of everything. I only have breeding EE hens right now, but the rooster are Freedom Ranger, Buff Brahma, and RIR. So far ive seen very lovely looking chicks from these mixes. I'll share some pictures.
As of now, I just introduced one of my giant EE cockerels. I don't think he's quite breeding just yet, but he is trying!
Beautiful EE's my bantams keep trying to breed with my EE pullets it is very funny he is the smallest chicken I have and he tries to breed everything even my big girlsView attachment 2315541View attachment 2315546View attachment 2315542View attachment 2315544View attachment 2315545View attachment 2315547
Just a few pictures of the Easter Eggers I have hatchedThe big orange Roo is going to be a breeding Roo. If the blue/orange young cockerel grows well, Ill definitely use him too.
