Any experience with: Coops & Feathers Universal Pen (SKU 221-75)

"we just did this yesterday for a 10x20 run. height of verticals was 6', everything else was 10' pieces. we added some support bracing at the bottom to try and get it less cockeyed, but otherwise it was simple enough!

It sounds simple enough but I am very inexperienced in building. I was hoping to find a simple plan as a guide so I can get info on how to attach the wood...what size and kind of screws , what is the best way to assemble etc.

I'll DM you what we did, if it will help.

I am not a great carpenter either, but by just measuring twice and cutting once (or as I mention below, not cutting at all), it is possible.

Really it should be as simple as choosing a dimension for the floor, screwing it together, then screwing in the verticals inside the floor frame you just made. Then make a second "floor" box, but this one goes at the top for the roof. If you make your life easy by going with 8, 10, or 12 foot boards, and you are willing to have an 8 foot ceiling, you don't need to cut ANYTHING. Seriously. Just have to screw the lumber together. Even if you decide to put in more than one vertical at each corner (and that would be wise since it makes covering it in hardware cloth easier), you just screw those into the inside of your floor frame and inside your roof frame.

These are some examples of what I am imagining that I had saved on my desktop. These are a little beefier or fancier than needed. Not that making them strong is a bad idea.

Lowes and HD will cut your wood for you as well, if that's something you are uncomfortable with- I believe you get 3 free cuts and then they charge a minimal amount.
