Any experience with lead poisoning please?

Quick update on Phoebe. She hit another big recovery milestone. On Thanksgiving morning she wouldn't come out of the crate (it's set up as a nest spot and to block off part of the bedroom, not used as a crate). Normally she's running to the bedroom door quacking to go out to the kitchen as soon as my alarm goes off. I went out and had my breakfast and coffee, Phoebe never came out. Very odd. When I peeked into the crate she started the unmistakable broody quack at me. She laid her first post poisoning egg!! She has now laid 4 eggs. I'm so happy for her!
Then yesterday she hit a new milestone in her transition to " super spoiled brat". While I was standing in the kitchen chopping their veggie snacks, Pipsqueak stood about 2 feet away watching me. This is unusual for Pipsqueak. Once Bill Bill taught Pipsqueak how to beg, she usually pecks and bites my legs and feet if I'm taking too long. Sometimes she bites so hard that she leaves bruises on me. Well, yesterday Pipsqueak stood back and let Phoebe take over the begging duties. Phoebe walked up and gently tapped my leg with her beak, stopped and looked up at me, then gently tapped my leg a few more times. :lau I'm so glad she begs gently like Bill Bill instead of viciously like Pipsqueak!

I'm so glad to hear that Phoebe is doing so well! - Sorry for the late answer, i was sick over Thanksgiving and now my current customer is driving me nuts!

I love reading these stories from your spoiled house ducks! But i still don't want to have a house duck! Yesterday my ducks ate about 10- lbs of cat-food after chewing through one paper-bag (see here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/the-quack-shack.1312910/post-23634872 ) and i am so afraid to go into the duck-house! There will be stinky poop everywhere…
