Any foods to make chickens lay more???

Are there any "Natural" foods to help increase the level of eggs by a hen??? I was just wondering..

An egg is mostly protein, so more protein will tend (within reason) to produce more eggs.

Meat. There are animal husbandry books from the 1700s that advocate feeding each hen a quarter pound of meat per day over the winter. That seems like a lot to me, but encourages me to feed meat scrapes to the hens.

Some here raise earth worms, meal worms and other forms of protein for the birds.

If you are going to go soybeans, note it should be roasted or cooked soybean for it to be digestible for the birds.
