Any Gamers Here?

I mean...doesn't everyone have a "personal device" now? I really can't stand how everything needs an app anymore. I found out the other day I needed an app just to use a freakin parking meter.

I can understand your frustration, but this is just how it was designed.

I actually hate myself how everything is becoming digital and needs an app.

What would happen if we had another Carrington event? Well, we would lose Internet and be unable to use the apps and be unprepared for everything that requires them.

I'm not sure what Carrington is.

I personally feel it's a combination of lazy old marketing people thinking "this is what the young people want" and lazy inventors. It used to be that if you made something it had to work...on its own...without help...well maybe it needed batteries but still..

Now instead of making something that has a computer in it that actually works on its own they make something that uses the computer you already have in your pocket. Just seems lazy to me.

I tried buying Sonic Adventure 2 on my PS3 the other day and found out at the very end of the transaction that the PlayStation store is closed for PS3. Can't find discs for PS3 and any versions I can find are crazy expensive, I think they are considered collectibles now. Oh well...

How many of you remember this?

After 10 years, I finally beat my all-time high score.
