find a comic or gaming store around you and stop in. Nerds are usually pretty welcoming and it's never too late to start. keeps your brain young.

There's tabletop gaming channels on youtube too. Critical Role just started a new season this weekend, in fact. Not the same as being there, but gives you an idea.

Nearest comic stores are about an hour away in either direction. Rural north Florida doesn’t have a lot of gaming beyond video games. We’ve got one Gamestop in the tri-county area.

I missed the chance in college. Never crossed my mind back then.
