Concerning that Yu-Gi-Oh card, I brought it to the tournament in Twin Falls yesterday, and I was asking people about it. It turns out it’s not a $200 card, it is $75 max. I don’t know why people on eBay are selling it for up to $200.

That’s not the point of why I’m posting, though.

This message is going out to all my friends.

I am having a thyroid issue, and according to an ultrasound, I need to have a biopsy done. They need more information in order to figure out what is wrong.

One thing you guys need to know is that because my thyroid is acting up, my depression has been really kicking me lately. This is one of the reasons why I’ve been making mocktails so often. I’m trying to distract from my depression. So far, nothing is working.

There is a comic that describes my feelings exactly. It shows an elephant at a bar, and the bartender is looking at him. The elephant says, “it’s no use. I drink, and I drink, and I still can’t forget.“

Prayers for me will be appreciated.

i just got through a pretty stressful season at work (2 back-to-back serious jury trials). So to treat myself and my daughter (whom I’ve had to put off spending a lot of time with), I bought us matching Switch 2s.

She’s ecstatic. She likes it a lot more than her original Switch. The screen is much larger and she can see how some games run smoother and sharper. Her Switch was a Lite, so she loves standing the 2 up on its kick stand and holding the controls in her hands Wii style.

As for me, as an adult, is it worth it? Not if you’re on a budget. It definitely makes some games run and look a lot better. I couldn’t stand Tears of the Kingdom on Switch because of how it ran. Too complicated play mechanics for a poor frame rate. Now its great and I’m going to play through the game over the next month or two.

Switch 2 is basically Switch “Pro,” but find the PS5 Pro to be the better upgrade if you have to pick one over the other. Ideally, if you don’t have either, jump right into the upgraded models. Thankfully, I can do both. I am enjoying the higher resolution handheld screen. I see a difference when playing pixel-based, retro-style, games.
