Any good recommendations?

Hi! I was looking to get two new chicks this spring to fill the shoes of my late americuana, General Chester. I have 3 barred rocks that are almost a year old, and I want a commonish breed that would be compatible with them. I do not plan on eating the chicken, but instead get a lot of eggs. I was looking into maybe an amber white or red star? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Also, would it be good to get locally raised chicks? There are some at the farmers market during the summer that are australops I think.
