When it gets sunny this weekend, I'll post some pics of my "twigs" of vines. One of them is SO close to having leaves, but right now they're just little loose wads of green and red.

I've grown Concord for the past 30 some years. I've never sprayed them, maybe if I remember a handful of 10-10-10 and then cutting the dickens out of them in the Spring. That's all I do here in Maryland. Last year was a really good year and also the chickens came at the end of July. Summer was winding down, so I let them free range when I was with them. They found the grapes and had a ball. After eating all of the low growing ones, they would jump up to reach them. Funny girls. So between the grandkids and chickens, my grapes were really appreciated.

Poultryhaven,

That's a fox. He's suffering from mange, see no fluffy tail. It wasn't long after this we ended his suffering. He continued to get worse and that made him careless. He's running from the spot were he sat watching my ducks all cozy in their run/house. I was totally saddened by his condition. Not long after we moved here my kids watched 2 kits playing in our lower field. They were in such total awe over something so cute, I always hoped he wasn't one of those kits. Luckily I haven't had any more probs with any fox.
