any guess on colors?update-6 weeks old

Holy cow - - they're that big after about 1.5 - 2 weeks???!!!

(I need a bigger brooder)
Haha! What size do you have? Yes they grow fast! We started with them in a box in the shower stall then moved to a huge storage container as they could fly and needed the height with a screen on top by three weeks they were able to fly to the top of that. So they moved to a medium sized dog crate near a window so they could look outside. Then to a double wide one that we put outside in the garage When they were about to grow out of that they were ready to be out to range. We only had 5 at the time they used this as a coop until we bought the real coop. Now we only have the three and it is just right for them.

Don't worry! You'll grow as they grow to accommodate. When is the big day again?

well, here they are at 6 weeks old.
they are so cute and funny.i am still trying to figure out their sex by their noise.
they are amazingly alert.they kept looking up in the sky at something and i didn't see anything fly over.then i saw it ,a jumbo jet slowly flying over at 30000(?) feet and not the ones that leave the white streak.

they are learning to fly now and they all take off together.a couple of them will get off course and land on something high.they fly down and do it again ,i guess just to see if they can .

right now i can move them slowly on the ground kinda like herding.they know where to go at night but i do have to get them in.usually if i put "strut" ,the turkey,up first, they will follow him.

i really like these guys alot .their may be more guineas than chickens here one day.

Wow, that one Royal Purple that I suspected might be Pied turned out to be heavily Pied! Nice!!! I have kept 6-8 that look very similar to that one from my hatches this year. They are really flashy birds as adults with the white against the dark coloring.

Nice little healthy flock, and Strut is cool too!

these were supposed to be flighty ,self sufficient birds that wouldn't demand much attention.
they do not like for me to leave and come running to me when they see me coming.i have almost run over them several time on the golf cart.whenever i am out with them ,they are no more than 6 ft from me,what ever i am doing.
they will follow me anywhere-although it could be the mealworms

the pied is a girl ,i think.she is so so so loud and chatty.she is constantly talking to me when i am out with them.the other 3 are boys maybe.they really only talk to alarm me and they chase each other with their wings up a little.
any thoughts?

love my guineas. :love

these guys are funny.they follow me everywhere.the other day they followed me to the house and flew up on the roof.whenever they follow me,when i turn around to look at them they stop and go to eating or pecking at something.they act like they weren't "really" following me.kinda hard not to hear them tho.lol

here they are on the back of the golf cart.

Dinahmoe - you'll know for certain in a few weeks if not sooner. I like to try to guess a keet's color before Peeps responds. I thought #1 & 2 were Pearl Grays, and #2 and 4 were Royal Purples, too, but I missed the "pied" part. Guess I have a way to go before I can get it accurate. Those are keets are cute, cute, cute, and I love looking at pictures!

PS - Somehow I posted this to the wrong thread. ???? Don't know how I did that. Oh well.
