Any guess on what breed this 3 year old hen is?

One of our hens about 3 years ago hatched eggs that we got from a friend. She does have feathered feet. We think shes a mix but don't know of what. Any ideas?

I posted this hen a while back trying to find out the same thing. She looks dark in the photo but is really more the shade of yours. I wasn't able to get a clear answer. Hope you do! [IMG]

looks like a production red and a brahma mix. The body shape, the off looking comb, and the feathered legs make me think there is brahma in her, and the red coloring also some of the overall shape makes me think some sort of production red or RIR.

    She is very pretty [IMG]

I had the same guess as that - production red x brahma, but hard to tell for sure.

Thank you guys! I was thinking she had RIR in her. She is a very sweet girl! [IMG] Your hen is very pretty too, they do look similar with the black neck feathers. Does yours have feathered feet?

Quote:No. I didn't notice that yours did at first. Definitely not the same breed. [IMG]

Yep I'd go with a Brahma cross. She's very pretty!

I think maybe Cochin or Brahma cross.
