Hey there!! I have a Bantam that I purchased at TSC about two weeks ago, so it's still quite young. However, as it's feathers continue to grow in, they are very neat looking. He/She also is going to have wonderfully feathered feet. Anyone care to guess what kind of Bantam he/she is and if it's a he/she? ( I know it's still probably too young to tell but just for curiousity sake)

I am going to guess that you really lucked out. I believe these might be D'ucellers I know I have misspelled this name badly but it is the only breed that starts with a capital D'. Should not be hard to look up . They are classically beautiful usually with beards and leg feathering

They do come in the color your young chicks came in . They are a little flighty I am told but I have found them to be quite tame. I believe that God diirects our paths and you have them for some purpose He has set before you with them. Enjoy them ! They are a special Gift.

Thanks for the information and guesses so far

He (we'll stick with that for now) is pretty flighty. Really fusses when you are after him to pick him up lol. I got 4 Bantams that day and a friend too two of them. She has a way bigger space to keep more chickens than I do and they were all different. My Daughter really liked this one's feathered feet so we kept him. We also have a darker one that looks similar but no feathered feet and barely any noticeable comb. That's what leads me to think this one is a he!

He is also pretty bossy and bumps around my Red Sex Link pullets lol. It will be interesting to see what he looks like as he grows.
