Something just dawned on me, and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my previous bad hatches.

Our tap water is highly chlorinated, like you can smell it when the water is running. We usually drink filtered water from the fridge, but I never even thought about it when I did the last two traditional hatches. I wonder if that affected my hatch rate . . ?

That's a really good catch and I'm not sure if it really affects the hatch rate. I think (THINK, not sure) chlorine is probably similar to salt and a little bit like the amount in your water should be ok.

I filled in the rest of the names. I went with a spotty theme for the SS eggs and followed the fruit theme for the Easter egger eggs @redinator
I wanted something cute and fluffy and chonky and I went with Muffin for the last Brahma egg. She will probably have muffs too so that's a bonus

Depending on how these incubators do I might do a traditional hatch in both, with eggs from the same pullet/hen. One with tap water and one with distilled bottled water.

That won't be until next spring though, I'll just have to remember this when the time comes.
