Any guesses on breed?

A friend of mine has a very unique roo that she was given by someone getting out of chickens, and we’re trying to identify breed. Since I’m relatively new to chickens, any help would be much appreciated!

Looks like an Easter egger mix! And a fine one at that!
We have quite a few of those! Not all roosters though! Most are hens!

Thank you. She stated the previous owner said he was a very costly chick when purchased, but never said what breed he was.
