Any guesses on chick breeds?

Got an order from Sandhill and he threw in some surprise chicks -



The reddish ones (in with some Delaware chicks) are feathering in white with very tiny black lines on the wing feathers

Here is one closer



Then there are these two light chipmunks, small (possibly bantam)

Hmm white sex link and Old english??

I don't believe he breeds sex links. It is as large as the Delawares, and they are hefty chicks.

I had looked at Sandhill's website, and narrowed down to these breeds that fits the looks of your chicks-

Red Chantecler

Rose Comb Rhode Island Red

Red Pyle Cubalaya

As for the smaller chicks, if they are bantams- The only breed that fits are- Ameraucana: Multicolored, pea combed. Some are non-bearded, as I do not see any single combs on them.

Thanks Farmerboy. Unfortunately, the reddish chicks are feathering in white, don't know if any red birds have white feathers when young. I am sure that the little ones are not Ams.

some RIRs have white but it will go away. It looks like a RC RIR to me. I raised them before and some of them had white feathers at first

I thought so. I had some RIRs before and they did come white for awhile, than turned red after the first molt. You may have RC RIRs after all.
