I’m thinking cockerel as well. The size and coloration of the comb has changed quite a bit in the last 2 weeks, but we will see. I will post an update in a week or so!

I added a couple photos, the first photo is from yesterday... the other two are from November 6th (almost two weeks ago). You can kind of see that the comb has grown and is much more pink.

Hi. Maybe you guys can help me with my two French copper marans. They were hatched on October 26th. They are 3 weeks plus old I guess. They are two different chicks there.

It's still too early, but the first 5 pictures are definitely screaming cockerel to me. Pic #8, provided this is a different bird, could go either way. Would love it if you updated us to ensure nothing changes in the future!

Thank you. I will. You got it right. I think the first few pictures is the boy. I can see some copper coming in his shoulder. The second one is the one that I keep switching back and forth. I hope I got one of each or I won’t get chocolate eggs for now.
