Has some white but not much. Found this chick dry yesterday afternoon - my chickens hatched it. The dad is the following bird. Any idea to what breed he is? I have my guess but I'll leave it up to you. I do not know who the mom is or what she could be.

Any guesses?

I got fertilized eggs from a friend of mine. No feathered legs on dad. He died a week ago I guess.. 4 years old. "Mom" is one of her hens. I do not have a rooster.

Sorry, I'm not sure about the breed, but that chick is so cute!

what breeds are there to choose from?
Honestly, I don't know and I think if I asked she would not know. She was given a bunch of 3-4 year old hens for their first chicken coop/project. I cannot remember what chickens I saw there. This one's momma must have had the black comb because their only other rooster is a porcelin d'uccle (I think - white & banty). It has quite a bit of white fuzz on it's bottom and so far all it's feathers are comming in pretty black. Should be interesting. Thanks for the guesses. We were thinking the rooster was a pencilled wyandotte. I do not know what kind of comb he had... just what you see in the photo. Thanks for all your responses.
Here is another (bad) photo. He is a week old.

His comb seems to be coming in red now. (ha! I wish I didn't think this was a he but even typing anything about this black chick makes me type 'he!') They are 2 weeks old. With that much of a comb at 2 weeks, I'm still guessing cockerel. One of the chipmunk ones has green legs and the other have feathered orange ones. None of them are full brother/sisters. They seem to be doing well with the flock. They are with their light brahma momma there but the wyandotte is not too far behind them. The five of them are never apart.

Here is a close-up of 'him.'
