Time will tell in regard to the gender, I guess. "It" really does bring to mind some of our EEs as chicks, though.

A better photo, taken in at least a couple more weeks, will be needed to get a gender ID - for breed ID a photo showing the bird from a side angle that provides a view of the entire bird will be needed. The patterning seen from above is common to many breeds and mixes, including -but not limited to - EE.
