Any hard water freaks here?

Hard water freaks? I had to open this one! Hard water around here means a lot of mineral in the water that leaves white crusty crud on all your faucets

Same here! I thought this was going to be about that type of hard water too. I've never seen that much ice, I've barely seen snow! That is so cool and looks like so much fun!

Well, the temps are dropping, it snowed alittle yesterday, maybe this year we will be able to fish. I don't think I went last winter, don't even remember shoveling any snow, but that was last winter, this winter is coming. Lets fish.

hi,
I had a chuckle when I read the title of your post, I though hard water, yes I have hard water, couldn't understand why that would create a buzz, till I finished reading your post. anyway happy fishing lol

We have a few small ponds here that have frozen over so hopefully will be fishing early in Dec. I like to get out on the ice for the day, especially if we can catch fish.

this winter is going the same route as last year. temps in the 40's, rain. I'm going to put the outboard back on the 14ft aluminum so I can fish.

The temps turned cold and the ice started forming, and we got about 5-7in of good ice on one of my favorite spots, and the perch cooperated also. Then the warm weather came back along with rain, guess what, all the ice is gone except in the launches. This sucks.

We got ice, the fish are cooperating, but it won't last now.March is just around the corner and warm weather will be with it. Oh well.

Here is a decent brookie I caught Saturday, she was loaded with eggs.
