I apologize if there is a listing of hatcheries somewhere in this topic....I am either incapable of finding them on my lonesome or inadequately entering search words (I know...how hard can "Hatcheries List" be, right?). I have found a few threads, but nothing regarding places in Alabama where one can pick up chicks of any kind. I live about an hour East of B'ham and about two hours West of Atlanta, so anywhere in between those two would be grand.

I appreciate any assistance, even a "here's the link, dummy" post, and humbly apologize for what I am sure is a common newbie question.

Hi! I can't find that link to all the hatcheries either, but I'm on it where ever it went to.

Not sure what your looking for but I always have buff orpingtons, heritage Delaware, heritage RIR, b/b/s Orps hatching (and more). A friend (peachychic on BYC) right down the road always has Black Copper Marans, BLRWyandottes, Barnevelers hatching.

Chicks coming off today (friend too)

We are NPIP and are considered hatcheries.

Perhaps we are close enough for your consideration, and worth the drive for you to come visit. The nice thing about us is you can see the parent stock.

Feel free to visit our websites.
