Any Hatching buddies out there? set 6/20 tonite with more coming!!!!

1st homegrown baby chick! It's a bantam Araucana, hatched by my bantam Mille Fleur Cochin. Super excting day today and hoping the other 4 hatch tomorrow! I started with 9 (shipped) eggs and 4 did not develop, but I saw good veins and movement in the other 5 a few days ago, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

ohhhhhhhhhh I just want to cry

the kids were soooooo super happy about our one baby. He died in his shell

oh we are sooo sad. We checked on him and he had one little leg out and topped his shell topper off. After we were for sure he was gone i went ahead and took his shell off. He never would have made it.....he had massive yolk not absorbed ......no way he could have made it. Oh it is just sooooo sad.

Ohhhh may I join too! I got my first egg to try this morning. My first egg from my New Hampshire Red. But not sure if this one is fertilized by Big Red (Rhoade Island Red) or Big Yeller (I'm still not sure what his breed is). Please comment if you know his breed LOL! Any way, I got them all seperated now. So hopefully this little chicky will hatch and I will have a cutie pie mixed breed.

Keeping my fingers crossed and PLEASE if anyone has advice please share daily for us newbies!!!!!!! You will not get on my nerves I promise. I really need the help Thank you!This is Momma a NHR -

I have 20 eggs in the bator now. most are brahams and I have a few that are black jersey giants. They are due to hatch on the 26th all seem to be fertile and starting to develop.

What color did it end up being? Lav or black? I will send you some more. Did you say you were going ot get a different incubator? If you do I can wait until you get your new one. Let me know. I want you guys to have some lavs

I had a Serama hatch, another pipped yesterday but no progress since yesterday evening. I hope it didn't die during the night!

Only one hatched out of my 23 shipped eggs. Black orpington - very strong chick. Had problems with my rcom 20 - couldn't get it to temp. My girls are very sad that none of the silkies hatched (they were very scrambled).
