1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I just received 5 chickens about 6 months old from my mother in law. I have never had them before.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5 right now.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island reds and idk the other two.
Two are darker brownish red and one is black and white
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Pinterest originally but a friend said I could get honest info from here. So I signed up.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Crafts and I cut hair for a living
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We just bought a 108 year old farm house on some land and I eventually want more chickens and some goats and probably a donkey. I cut hair for a living and love animal and crafting.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found y’all on Pinterest looking at movable chicken coops and pins. Then a friend suggested I could get good info from this page. So I joined
Any help I can get will be great. My mother in law wasn’t not feeding them properly so I have much catching them up to do before winter.
