Any ideas on breed, and what is the give away for female, so i can start learning? Thanks

For this bird it is the color/pattern - the males would be a black breasted pattern such as shown here:


As you can see, these birds are fairly easy to sex once they start feathering out as there are such distinct differences in the way each gender is patterned and colored.....

Oh, yes, easy to see the difference in this breed. It sounds like if no one claims her she will be coming to out house.
