Any help with our girl

I'm right there with you with my newest lady who came to me with an impacted crop and a worm overload. She's now battling vent gleet. She'll be fine, but it is worrisome and difficult in the meantime.

Our girl was doing so well last month. Even was walking around the garden and eating and drinking this morning. But has died this afternoon. Was such a strong girl until the end . We will miss her. :hit

UPDATE.. We have treated her for impacked crop, coccidiosis and then sour crop . Was a long battle but she is doing very well and will be joining the flock again next week. It is so good to see her eating well and looking so much better. Thank you for your help Aunt Angus and DobieLover. Here is a picture of her from last night enjoying some worms.
Hi I have a sick hen as well she is 17 mos old, not eating but drinking and just moving around very slowly and then sitting down as if she is resting. Her crop is squishy. How do you treat for a sour crop? Thank you in advance! I've never had a sick chicken and don't know what to do I did feel for an egg in her and there isn't one near her vent....

Hi TLHloveschicks, I used the CVS brand of Monistat. (its for yeast infections) The box came with one human dose. So you cut this dose in 6 doses for your chicken. Give 1 dose for 6 days. After day 2 you will see an inprovement. I did. I mixed the dose with plain yogurt. I always thought for sour crop you smell it on your chicken but I didn't . My girl was drinking alot during that time, I think they are trying to clear the sour crop on their own by doing so. I also mixed apple cider vigear in her water. Good luck to you.
