2 week old chick joint swollen and crusting. At first, she looked like splay leg and I attempted to hobble. This made worse and joint is now swollen. What can I do short of get? I have amoxicillin at the house that I can dissolve. Will it help? Attaching pics.

Has she had problems walking all along? Slipped tendons can sometimes cause a sore or scab on the hock with swelling. Do her toes curl under? If possible get a picture of the chick standing at eye level even if you have to hold her upright, just to see the leg position? Having a second person taking the picture or helping would be easier.

There are a lot of videos and articles about slipped tendons. They need to be treated in the first day or two. I would read as many links and watch vieos of how to straighten the tendon, and tape it in place for a day or two. Here are some links to help determine if she has a slipped tendon and how to fix it:
