What kind of home chemist?
I'm from the midwest. There's a few chemists around but luckily they usually blow up their homes and move on.

Do you make things that are useful in your home or do you prefer experimentation? For example do you make home cleaning products or personal hygiene products? Do you make things that are edible? (some food is most certainly a science) or home brews or fermented beverages of any kind?

I'm not a "home chemist," but I'm a PhD chemist and I LOVE to chat about all things chemistry (and anything science-related). I prefer to do my experimentation at the bench in the lab. I am particularly interested in green chemistry, environmental toxicology, and endocrine disruption.
