Any hope?

The below chick has been piped since around 8pm last night. And has been this far out since spring 1pm (pst) it’s now 5:22pm and it’s barely made any progress.

Do you think this will still hatch on its own? It’s still breathing and rocks back and fourth once in a whole.

I assisted it and it’s now thriving, I have 7 hatched that I removed from the incubator as they seemed way too rowdy to remain in there any longer.

Unfortunately, it appears that I have one egg inside beak out and pipped but really pale so I think it has died.

7/11 eggs hatched. I think I heard one chirping so possibly one more.

All good! I was right in predicting one more this morning.

The other is defs dead as it’s oozing, there is one more in there that has appeared to have pipped but will not hatch and another Unpipped. No signs of anymore chirping so I’ll likely leave until later tonight then dispose of the rest of the eggs.

Here is a picture of the 8 babies (don’t worry I immediately put their heat plate back)

I threw one egg around day 14 as it never progressed so I had an 8/11 hatch.

They are so cute! An 8/11 hatch rate is still pretty good in my opinion.
