I was wondering if there are any horsey people out there? I see a lot of horses in people’s Avatars. What breeds do you have? How many? What do you like to do with them?

We currently have 6 horses, a bit of a mix out of Clydesdales, a Shire, a Drum and a Friesian Shire Cross. The Clydesdales are all brood mares and so is the Shire. The other 2 are sporthorses, one gelding, one stud colt. We love them to death. I like to take them out for rides and practice dressage if time allows. If we are not outside playing with the chickens we will be in the barn playing with the horses.

I have 2 QH and just trail ride with my grandson. There are alot of horse people here but you'll usually find them posting under Other Pets and Livestock.

4 saddlebreds. 2 live here @ the ranch and 2 are off showing.
Sienna is 16 months, still in training.

Cheers is 25 years, his show days are over but he can still clear the 4' fence. He just spent a year teaching kids to trail ride and came back in the best shape of his life.

Chance (Sienna's mom) and Charm are off showing everywhere from Denver to Phoenix.

They all show, will show, or did show in 5 gaited pleasure class. Despite the baby still being in her obnoxious phase people like to 'rent' my very well behaved and beautiful animals to show as their own. If I hadn't converted one of the stalls into a coop there would be another horse here. You can see pictures of it in 'converted stall'.

Quarter horses, a paint and mini donkeys for me.
Goats and chickens too.

i'm taking a break but I've had horses all but 6 years of my life.I currently wish I could fence some of my property and have a donkey but I am going to be patient and wait till we move lol.

One appaloosa/quarter horse. I trail ride and camp with a bunch of friends. Occasionally my husband comes along and fishes! Grandchildren too young to ride yet, but plan on getting a pony in the future!
