Any idea on breed?

Hi!

I just got my first chickens. We were given a coop and got it all set up. A friend down the road has a flock of about 30- and have them for egg purposes only/never cared about the breed... so they ended up with whatever they found.

Anyway they let me go over and pick out four hens and a rooster. I know that two of my hens and the rooster are Rhode Island Reds and there is an Australorp... but I'm not having much luck with this last hen... any ideas as to what she is? Or is she just good ole' heinz 57 chicken (the one on the left).

She definitely looks like a Black Sex Link, which are egg laying machines. You should get loads of eggs from her. )

She could be either, honestly. If she came from a hatchery, she'd be a black sex link. If they hatched her themselves, that's an easy enough color to get crossing black and red birds. Since sex links are technically mixed breeds, you're kinda right either way
