Steele Eggers are cited on Meyer Hatchery as being either blue or splash. The bird pictured is neither of those varieties, looks to have silver ancestry When breeding BBS birds, those are the only colors that occur, no black and silver birds. Here is an example of a Blue Steele Egger from Meyer hatchery. I personally am very doubtful that it is one

Black birds can come from blue x blue matings, but a bird with that much pattern won’t come from solid colored parents.
