That dark color legs for BSL is normal. It looks more black to me but maybe that's just my monitor color settings.

The legs look slateish to me. And I don't believe it matters what color legs it has as Black sex links aren't an actual breed they are a hybrid

black and slate are basically the same thing. I had ones with yellowish legs, but black/slate tend to be the normal

My black sex link, that's what I was told it was, has some rust colored feather around her neck area. I know she is a girl cause she lays brown eggs.

The OPs has the rust colored feathers too. It coloring is how it was easy to tell it was a pullet. A male would be colored much differently, kind of like a sloppy barred rock

Don't feel bad, I didn't know what it meant until the middle of last year. I had been on here for months seeing people using that and didn't have a clue what it meant. Then I saw someone ask and all made sense lol
