Any idea what breed these might be?

Some friends just bought some of these and they are supposed to be 7 months old. But still aren't laying. Maybe it's a breed that doesnt lay until 8 months?

They look like some sort of hybrid. Usually egg laying ones start early. Maybe they are a meat breed. Just guessing.

I think are possibly a dual purpose bird. The guy called them Wheatons but of course that's just a color??

They don't look familiar to me, but there's lots of hybrids these days. Hopefully they start laying soon.
