we got a rare chick with our order from mcmurray hatchery. It’s wing feathers are starting to come in and the colors are stunning. Any idea what it might be?

Single comb...... That rules out hamburg and Sebrights......

Fayoumis are more of a reddish brown. Seems odd because they mature into a lovely silver. An old picture of my Fayoumis for reference:

Delving into the huge world of poultry is enough to become addicted, especially since chickens are far more gorgeous than they're given credit for!
