I purchased this little lady as an americana but I don't think she is. She doesn't have even a hint of fluffy cheeks which I thought was kind of a breed standard. She did just start laying lovely little blue/green eggs for me in the last couple of weeks! She looks nothing like the americana that I have from McMurray's so I was curious what she might be...Thanks

I just googled that and she sure does...except that she had the chipmunk pattern as a chick and it looks like the black sex links are mostly black as chicks...

Is that basically what an "mut" americana is? I see Easter Egger a lot but I don't really know exactly what that is

If she lays a blue/green egg she is likely an Easter Egger. Since they aren't a breed they have no standard so can come in many colors. Most have muffs and beards but some are clean faced. Many are falsely sold under the name Ameraucana. If your other is from McMurray than she is also an EE. They don't sell true Ameraucanas. Ameraucanas are a breed with specific standards. They are sold with their color just like other true breeds. They aren't the same thing.
