Wanted to do a 3 1/2 week update!
Thank you! It’s a bummer he’s a roo because I can’t have them where I liveThat little Cuckoo boy is adorable!
They're looking good!Babies are almost 6 weeks!
The blue one might be a Blue Australorp, or maybe a Blue Sexlink (sometimes called Sapphire Gem). I'm pretty sure she is blue, not lavender.I bought 3 chicks at a local feed store yesterday and they weren’t exactly sure of this little blue chicks breed. One of the people working there said lavender Orpington and another said blue australorp. There were also EEs, olive eggers, RIRs, sex links, and polish if that helps. Just wanted to see if anyone had any guesses! Thanks!
Thank you so much! I’m going to keep him until he starts crowing because I have a hen who I was 90% sure was a roo along with people on here saying roo and she turned out a hen so keeping fingers crossed but not having high hopes! I’m excited to see how they look when there all grown up!They're looking good!

The red one looks like a Rhode Island Red to me. There's a chance of her being a red sexlink, but most Red Sexlinks have white in the tail and wings where RIR (and your chick) have black.
I'm not sure about the breed of the black-and-white male. He could possibly be Cuckoo Maran or Barred Rock (I can't see foot color well enough to distinguish), or he could be an Olive Egger, or maybe something else yet. Since you've said you cannot keep him, figuring out the exact breed may not be very important.
I'm thinking the same as I did with the 6-week update (about 3 posts ago).any ideas on all their breeds now that they are older?
Thank you! I’m so happy with how pretty they are!I'm thinking the same as I did with the 6-week update (about 3 posts ago).
