I am fixing to start construction on a large coop, 40x8 to be exact

It's going to be covered on 15-20 feet and the rest having deer netting over it. I wanted to start construction, BUT there is a 14x8 deck in my way. It's on a 2x6 frame, with 1x6's on top. Needless to say it's heavy. We tried using our strength (mom and i) but it wouldn't budge. We are going to still use this deck, so we can't burn it or break it apart. The boards are nailed with ring shank nails every 8 inches, so it won't be fun to remove each board.

We have no idea how we are going to move it, so help would be appreciated.

No tractors. We have a tow chain and a excursion

gonna try to pull it out of the pen. I'll update ya'll when we do it. Hopefully it will work. When one of mom's friends get back from the beach, he can use his 4 wheelers. That's how we go it in there

I assume its on posts? If so, ring the bottom of it with 2x8s or better
and put it on skids and pull it to where you need to. You will most likely
have to cut the post off unless you can jack it up but if you brace it and
stabilize it, you can drag it slowly into place, probably with a 4 wheeler.
3/4 inch thick plywood skids should work nicely. Take your time and
think about what you are doing and it should go well. Many have been
moved this way when they are very heavy.
If moving it a distance, get a 8x16 car trailer and lower it onto the trailer.
You can drive it anywhere. Raise it the same way you lowered it. With
jacks.
I always keep in mind that necessity is the mother of invention.

It used to be on posts, but was flat on the ground now. We pulled it out with a tow chain, and the excursion. Hard work since it's HUMID as IDK what. It rained and the sun decided to come out
