Any ideas on how to recycle spurs and feather from rooster??

I've got a set of wings in the freezer waiting to be turned in to hand fans.

I would really like to see your end result. Could you show pictures when you have made them.

I'm sure it is, they are high in protien, but I'm not really sure how you'd prepare it. Fling a general search says that feathers are used to make livestock feed.

i don't have any as i don't hunt turkeys. but there are sure to be videos on youtube on it.

also tail feather mounts. i have yet to make one but i have a grouse tail fan in the freezer waiting to be turned into a fan mount.

Sure thing. I've got a couple I've bought at powwows, but they are made from a smaller pheasant wing. I live in Fl, I need something big enough to actually move some wind lol

I've never done it. I'll just be following some YouTube videos or something. I'll post the pictures when I get to it.

I've used feathers from our chickens to make earrings and also on dreamcatchers, Christmas wreaths and as decoration when wrapping gifts. I also tie them to string and my cat finds them the best toy of all.

I actually, make chickens out if the feathers. Wire base for feet, polystyrene balls for the body and head, spurs for the beaks, beads for the eyes, and red leather for the combs, and waddles. They are very popular!
