I got this beauty from TSC in the white pullet bin. The one in the foreground on the right. She is now about 6 weeks old and I don't know what she is. There is another that looks almost identical (the one beside her)but so far her feathers are coming in solid white whereas the other has one dark gray spot coming in on her lower back. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

More pictures of here below. Any help is way more than money can buy!:)

She is supposed to be the same age as the one beside her but she seems to be developing her feathers much faster and like I stated she doesn't have the spot of dark gray coming in that the other does. When they were babies they were yellow and just had a hint of gray, you could only see it in some lights, on their wings and back. I've looked at chicks from all sorts of white breeds and just can't seem to figure out what she may be. They are both very flighty and not not as friendly as a lot of my other 9. I love them all the same though and would just like to be able to figure out what breed they are. Thank you all for any input!

I'm so new to chickens that I don't even know why you hope you're wrong?!? I will say that she is growing around the fastest of all and is bigger than some that were bigger than her to begin with. What is a cornish cross? I'm sorry I know it's tedious to explain but I really don't know....

Cornish cross or Cornish X are meat birds. They grow rather fast quickly. Usually by 7-8 weeks they are ready to be taken to the butchers and weight roughly 4lbs. In my experience and this is only mine, they seem to be mean, the nails seem sharper. I don't really like them. Go check out Meat Birds ion this site. It has some really good information.

How old is it?

I think that she is about 6 weeks. I have two (what I believe to be ) production reds that are the same age and they are very comparable in size and weight but she is just so super Fluffy! Much fluffier than the red babies that I have. In the picture you can see a glimpse of one of my barred rock pullets that I know for sure to be 3 1/2 weeks old. As you said though she is very unfriendly (her and the one who looked the same as a baby that now has the one little gray spot). All the others come to me and are eager to eat from my hand and just visit but she and the other are the ones to start flapping around and occasionally bump chests. I really do appreciate your input!!!
