I got Tiny Tim, or Timmy, from a lady I was buying 8 red sex-link pullets. She threw the little guy in for free. Free chicken, cool!!! All I know is he came out of the bantam bin at Atwoods.
You should get him some little girls to go along with him. If he is anything like my roo, he will love them and be the nicest little roo to them. Mine calls them over whenever i give them treats he will pick something up with his beak and let his hens take it out of his mouth, just so they dont have to bend down.
He harly ever eats any of the treats for himself just lets his girls eat them.
He has a couple young ladies. I'll be posting pictures of them on here soon. Picked them up at an auction and have no idea what they are other than "small enough for Timmy". Now Timmy's size doesn't slow him down any in the arena of trying to impress the ladies. I've seen several of my large fowl hens being pursued by Timmy. Some of them are kind enough to squat down for him. But I believe all Timmy gets out of it is a piggy back ride. The equipment is just too far apart. But little Timmy is persistent and optimistic.
He's got a lot of personality and is friendlier to us humans than my other roosters. I see my 3 large fowl roosters chasing one another around competing for the love and affection of their hens, chasing off any Roo that would dare to try to breed a hen in front of them. They all three just leave Timmy alone. He literally will be right under their nose (he's a little guy don't you know) getting a piggy back ride from a large fowl hen. the Roos don't do a thing.
