Picked up this little bantam from Atwoods, I read they get their chicks from Ideal. It's head is chocolate-y brown that fades to lighter on its back and belly. Any ideas?

Interesting! It looks identical in appearance to another bantam I picked up that I assumed was an Old English Game, but the color on this one really threw me. I really did not NEED another chick but couldn't resist, haha.

Its belly coloring is a grey color, but its head is definitely brown. There isn't any chipmunk stripes although it kind of appears that way in the pics.

Looks somewhat like a Golden Laced Sebright chick.

Golden Sebrights usually have more golden-colored bodies.

I really have no idea

But the closest it resembles is an Old English Game. Is it a bantam chick? If it's not, Silkiesandco, it's most definitely not a Golden Sebright, because they are true bantams, i.e. they don't have a standard-size version of them.

EDIT: Oh wait, it is a bantam. So my guess is Old English Game bantam.

Thanks for the replies, I think you all are right about the chick being an Old English Game. Now if I could just figure out. the color! Google hasn't been any help. :)

Neither am I. Saying it's most definitely not a Golden Sebright is just my opinion, actually.

Reasons I think the chicken in question is not a Sebright:

1. The chick lacks the lacing of a true Golden Sebright chick.

2. Golden Sebright chick's chests are more of a gold-wheat color, the chick in question has more of a bluish chest, but I don't know if it's the lighting or not...

3. The color of the shanks is different. Golden Sebrights have more silvery-grey shanks, not the blank shanks of that chick.

Reasons I think the chicken in question is an OEGB:

1. The chick looks somewhat like a Blue OEGB.

2. The shank color is the same.

3. To me the body shape look like that of an OEGB chick.
