Any ideas to fill gaps in my coops door?

Hi there! We’re in the process of getting our coop/run all finished up but we have these gaps around the door frame and aren’t quite sure how to predator proof them. The door only swings inward. Any ideas would be really appreciated!!

P.S. We’re also filling with sand not hay lol

It will be pretty elaborate if you want to be able to keep birds in only the pen after dusk. Is there a building inside where they can be locked in at night?
Where are you located?
Just closing off the gaps won't help if the top is open. Most predators are capable climbers.

I’m in Michigan, the top is all enclosed and we’ve wrapped the sides all in hardware cloth going up to the roof. I do have a building inside for them to be locked in a night. We’ve got raccoons, minks, possums, really anything that would eat a chicken unfortunately.

Some general examples for a fully secured door gap:

My chain link run isn't so secure, but I overlap HWC on the frame and door itself so when closed the layers sandwich over.

There's also this Z shaped approach to overlapping HWC around the door frame: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...der-2020-version.1529488/page-7#post-25809665
