yeah that's what I would think. unless he were interrupted by something. my own dog maybe, one of the horses (Maggie has a strong hate of dogs in general but tolerates mine as long as he avoids her. LOL)
but my neighbor has a new dog I've learned... large, no idea what he is. looks like a pitt cross or some such maybe.
I've been vocal about my losses and suspect a dog... also vocal about what will happen if I catch a dog eating my birds. so hopefully if it WAS that dog, he won't be back.
