Any ideas why my (Muscovy drakes' tail feathers) are different??...

Thats why Im making this website. Its to hard for people to understand what color a duck is, when there is 10 names for the same color and then barring etc can make a duck look like a color it is not. so with photos, good photos and descriptions Im hoping to help people like me who are totally confused LOL, to enjoy their ducks more and to work on programs with better knowledge.

It looks like the few feathers arent broken or have molted.. But as you can see every other feather on their tail is broken off...

sometimes they chew their feathers if they're stressed but they are probably just molting. you don't have a dog that's getting a grab on their tails do you? our neighbor's puppy came over a while back and ripped out a side of my drakes tail feathers, kinda like one side of your boys' tails.

no, my dogs get along with the ducks...something cute, when I walk my
St.Bernard, all my guineas will get behind us and follow us as if I am
walking them too! truely funny!
