Just got these babies this morning...I was told they were all silkie hens...I have major doubts.

Any guesses??

Thanks all...thats what I thought but then wondered if the Roo was just an older hen (I was hoping). He will need to go back. I will like a few more little ones for my group. How high is good for a perch for them?

Since they got the 'normal-feather' genes, they should be able to reach hights most other chickens can. You can't do wrong with 3 ft or so off the ground.

I was worried the perch we put up was to high but just went out and all 3 are up there ready for bed.
