Any Ideas

Anybody have any idea how to fix this chicks leg? It just hatched a day ago, and I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with it besides its leg turned in.

I'm not sure if this is 'spraddle leg' or not, but it needs to be fixed otherwise the chick won't be able to stand. According to Storeys' guide, you can use a band-aid to keep the legs hobbled together until the muscles develop. Also paper towels on the bottom of the enclosure to help give some sort of firm footing. I'm sure someone else out there has first hand experience and will be able to help further, Sue
