Any info on PT testing in Texas would be great!

My curiosity got me looking....

Regarding registration to sell poultry in Texas: “Sellers who sell birds ONLY from their home or premises.” are exempted from registration (on page 2).

Registering with the Health Commission is completely different than having a PT test.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful info. We do have a certificate and are registered with TAHC.

We have a flock of about 50 chickens, 9 ducks, and a turkey. We haven't been able to find much info on PT testing in Texas, so any advice would be wonderful.

Do they have to be PT tested?
How much does PT testing cost in Texas?
What are the rules?
Do we have to keep renewing it?
How does it work?
Is it done to every bird?

PS. We live in East Texas.

PT tested is required if you want to sell birds or hatching eggs.
It depends on how much the tester wants to charge...there is no set price.
Testing is done once a year.
