Any knife makers out there?

The wood is from a Burle off a cherry tree. It showed up in my firewood pile and I saved it. I had two and the huge one was rotten inside, I was so disappointed. I laid it on my table saw and ripped it 1/4" wide in strips. The burle scales make the knife.

The shinny skinner came from atlanta cultery and is wicked sharp being hollow ground. Its chinese stainless I think. It highly polished if that is what you think is oiled? The other one is my hunting pack knife for deer. Its just quality steel he guy cuts sands and hardens. I think be hits it to make a few scales on the blank to look like forged metal. ;) But they are good knives none the less. for $30 - $40 I got better knives than I could buy for $100 or more.

I'll full out make one to have the one I made and I'll probably quit unless the daughter or son want one.

I can get pics of the sawed blanks if you want to see them. I lost the burle pictures.
