Any last minute advice???

Okay, I've got the humidity down to 62 percent and the temp is at 99 degrees, if I take much more water out there won't be any left

What now??

Is the vent open?


And for future ref. I used a straw, and a syringe to add water....... just put the straw through the vent hole and squirt some water in with the syringe.... worked really well - and I could save those openings of the bator for candleing!

I think I finally have the humidity stabilized. I removed the plug last night and the humidity is reading 59 percent, is this okay?? Temp is sitting at 100 degrees as well.
I think I'm gonna need some

if I'm going to be sitting here all day keeping track of everything

How exciting for you mamaboyd! I'm going to subscribe to this topic so I don't have to come on here in a panic and ask the same questions lol. I'm going to be right behind you as I'm setting mine on Thur or Fri. Prob thursday. My incubator will be here wed and eggs on Thurs

I got black giant cochins for free from a friend. She just bought an expensive pair at a show who were both show birds so I got 7 - 10 of their eggs. I can't wait! I just hope I get a blue...she said this pair sometimes throws a blue out there. I would love a blue roo!

My eggs are barred rock cross(rooster) and my girls I have no idea what breed they are as they are a special hatchery breed(company doesn't tell what they are) but I think they have buff orp in them .
