Californiahatchery.com does not have any life stock inventory themselves. They don't even have a warehouse with anything. Just a home office with a PO Box. They are a broker and act as a middle man. You order from them and Metzer is actually the one who ships the ducklings for them. Not sure where they get the other birds from.

See i just don't think thats right. They get to take credit for other peoples birds and they make profit on top of what they're paying the source. They pretty much don't do anything except sit back and be lazy and advertise birds that aren't theirs with none of the hard work involved that metzer and other places put into their birds.

You are right with that. Best call them and ask questions. Their knowledge is rather limited. I prefer affiliate offers in the form of linking. I do that on my website. You link to my store, you get 10% commission on all referred sales you produce. It's clear who ships, me, and it does allow others to generate some income with little work involved.

Wow check out their FAQ's they are copies from Metzer, identical wording. LOL

Go with Metzer. John Metzer is amazing and will often personally help you if you have issues. Their ducks are robust and healthy. IMHO they are the best, hands down.
